Domaine Camille & Mathieu Apffel Avant la Tempête White 2024 is a white wine produced by Domaine Camille & Mathieu Apffel in Savoie.
The wine is a single-varietal Jacquère sourced from vineyards located on the slopes of Mont Granier, at the foot of the Chartreuse massif. This terroir is notable for its chaotic composition, created by the collapse of Mont Granier in 1248, which produced a mix of clay and limestone.
The wine is aged for one year in fiberglass tanks, French oak barrels, and clay amphorae for a year. Bottled without filtering, stabilizing, or fining.
