Oriol Artigas Sammay 2023 White Wine
Oriol Artigas Sammay Blanco 2023 is a white wine produced by Oriol Artigas in Alella, northwest of Barcelona. A native winemaker of the area, he crafts wines with a strong sense of identity and terroir.
The wine is a blend of Macabeu (34%), Xarel·lo (34%), and Parellada (32%). The grapes are destemmed and undergo a 5-day skin maceration before being directly pressed to ferment spontaneously with native yeasts in stainless-steel tanks.
It rests for 11 months in stainless-steel tanks and fiber vats on its fine lees. It is bottled without fining, stabilizing, or filtering, and with no added sulfites.
