Saisons Jacquère 2023 White Wine
Saisons Bourgogne Aligoté White 2023 is a white wine produced by Vins Saisons in the village of Meloisey, Burgundy.
This wine is a single-varietal Aligoté sourced from organically farmed vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are directly pressed, and fermentation takes place spontaneously in barrels with native yeasts.
The wine is aged for 12 months in used 350L French oak barrels, followed by a second winter in stainless steel tanks on its fine lees. It is neither fined nor filtered, with only a minimal addition of sulfur at bottling.
