Alessandro Salvano DWNL Langhe Rosso Red 2023 is a red wine produced by DWNL winery in the village of Montelupo Albese, in the Langhe region of Piedmont. This area lies just outside the official Barolo production boundary.
The wine is a single-varietal Nebbiolo sourced from a clay-limestone vineyard located at about 400 meters above sea level. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with native yeasts using whole clusters, followed by a 17-day maceration before pressing. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally.
The wine is aged for 6 to 8 months in concrete and stainless steel tanks. Unfiltered and unfined.
