Quinta da Muradella Garnacha Tintorera Tinto 2016 is a red wine produced by the Quinta da Muradella winery under the Monterrei Denomination of Origin. The vineyards are over 70 years old, planted on granitic and clay soils.
The wine is fermented in open wooden vats with whole clusters, a method that adds complexity and a bright, refreshing sense on the palate. It then undergoes 13 months of aging in used French oak barrels, allowing a gradual evolution without the wood overpowering the fruit.
No fining or filtration is performed. The result is a red wine bursting with intense red fruit, vibrant acidity, and fine, elegant tannins.
