Nanclares Y Prieto Alberto Nanclares Labrego Da Viña 2023 White Wine

Nanclares Y Prieto Alberto Nanclares Labrego Da Viña Blanco 2023 is a white wine produced by Nanclares y Prieto in the Val do Salnés subzone, within the Rías Baixas appellation.

The wine is made exclusively from Albariño sourced from vineyards between 15 and 95 years old, planted on Xabre soils (decomposed granite) and sandy-loam soils with granitic bedrock.

Whole clusters are directly pressed without destemming before alcoholic fermentation takes place, with 45% of the wine fermented in used 450L and 500L French oak barrels and the remaining 55% in stainless steel tanks.

Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, with only a small addition of SO2 and weekly bâtonnage carried out over 3 months.

The wine is aged on its lees for 9 months.
