Péter Nagyváradi Aracs 2023 White Wine
Péter Nagyváradi Aracs White 2023 is a white wine produced by Péter Nagyváradi in the northern area of Lake Balaton, in Balatonfüred, Hungary. The soils of these vineyards are influenced by ancient volcanic geysers, making the volcanic terrain ideal for viticulture.
The wine is a single-varietal Welschriesling, a local grape variety from centenarian vines that he has recovered on the Balaton peninsula. The wine ferments spontaneously with native yeasts without temperature control. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, where it also ages on its fine lees.
The wine is neither filtered, clarified, nor stabilized.
