Château du Nairac 1995 is a sweet white wine produced by Château du Nairac within the A.O.C Barsac, in the Sauternes region of Bordeaux.
It is a field blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle, made from grapes affected by noble rot (Botrytis cinerea), which concentrates sugars and aromas in the fruit.
The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and is aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, some new, to add structure and complexity while preserving the wine’s characteristic freshness and acidity.
