Abel Mendoza Selección Personal 2019 Red Wine
Abel Mendoza Selección Personal Tinto 2019 is a red wine produced by Abel Mendoza in the village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, within the Rioja D.O. Abel is one of the leading figures of the new wave of winemakers in Rioja.
This wine is a single-varietal Tempranillo, sourced from vineyards located at around 500 meters above sea level, with vines approximately 70 years old, planted on calcareous and stony soils.
The wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in concrete vats, and is then aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels.
