Albamar AAA 2023 Red Wine
Albamar AAA Red 2023 is a red wine produced by Bodegas Albamar under the Rías Baixas D.O. in Galicia.
This wine is a blend of 20% Espadeiro, 20% Caíño Tinto, 20% Mencía, and 20% Albariño. The vineyards are mainly located in Cambados, with some plots in Xil, Meaño, and Ribadumia, on granite soils that lend the wine minerality and freshness.
Around 70% of the grapes are destemmed, while the remaining 30% ferment with stems over about 8 days. Finally, the wine is aged for 8 months in fourth-use French oak barrels.
