Andrea Calek Chatons de Garde Red 2022 is a red wine produced by Andrea Calek in the Ardèche area, in the Rhône region. The wine is a single-varietal Syrah. The vineyards are planted on grey marl and silty soils.
The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, following natural winemaking practices and biodynamic farming. It is pressed and aged for 8 months in old barrels on its fine lees.
The wine is neither fined, filtered, nor stabilized.
