Canto de la Alondra Tinto 2024
El Canto de la Alondra 2024 is a red wine crafted by winemaker Silvía García within the Ribera del Duero appellation. It is a single-varietal wine made from Tinto Fino, with all grapes sourced from a single vineyard located on the plateau of Olmos de Peñafiel.
The grapes undergo a strict selection process both in the vineyard and at the winery. They are destemmed prior to pressing, and malolactic fermentation takes place immediately after racking. The wine is then aged on its lees for 13 months in French oak barrels, with one barrel made of American oak.
It is fined with plant-based products and not stabilized. A complex and elegant wine, broad on the palate with a luscious character.
