The parcel enjoys a south-southeast exposure and is exposed to the northwest winds, conditions that promote slow and even ripening. The vines are rooted in shallow clay-limestone soils.

Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, followed by approximately 18 months of ageing in French oak barrels, with a small proportion of new oak.
