Frontonio Supersónico Tinto 2020
Frontonio Supersónico Tinto 2020 is a red wine produced by Bodegas Frontonio in the Valdejalón region of Aragón, Spain.
The wine is a single-varietal Garnacha sourced from the Las Frías vineyard, a 2-hectare plot located at 1,030 metres above sea level on slate and sandy soils. The bush-trained, dry-farmed vines are around 80 years old and are cultivated using sustainable practices.
Fermentation takes place with whole clusters in open-top vats using indigenous yeasts, followed by a long maceration to extract the full character of the vineyard.
The wine is then aged for 11 months in 2,500-litre oak foudres and oak barrels.
A fresh, vibrant and energetic wine with aromas of red berries, bay leaf, rose and spices.
