Holger Koch Pinot Noir Kaiserstuhl 2024 Red Wine
Holger Koch Pinot Noir Kaiserstuhl Red 2024 is a red wine produced by Bodegas Holger Koch in the Baden region of Germany.
It is a single-varietal Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder), made from Dijon clones with particularly small, aromatic berries. This is a single-vineyard wine from the Kaiserstuhl parcel.
The wine ferments spontaneously with native yeasts and macerates on its skins for 18 days.
It is aged for 11 months in 500- and 300-liter French oak barrels. Two-thirds of the wine are left unfiltered, while the remaining third is clarified by gently removing the sediment through a coarse filtration.
The wine is stabilized, with sulfur use kept to a minimum at 30 mg/L.
