Juan Manuel Burgos Avan Viñedos Viejos 2022 Red Wine

Bodegas y Viñedos Juan Manuel Burgos "Avan Viñedos Viejos" is a red wine produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Juan Manuel Burgos in Fuentelcésped (Burgos), within the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin. 

It is a single-varietal Tempranillo wine made from grapes sourced from a vineyard located at approximately 900 meters above sea level, planted on calcareous soils with sand and clay. The vines are between 60 and 80 years old. 

Spontaneous fermentation is carried out using indigenous yeasts, with low doses of sulfur dioxide added during the process. After fermentation, the parcels are blended (coupage), and the wine undergoes an 18-month aging in new, extra-fine-grain French oak barrels.
