La Perdida Meu 2025 Red Wine

La Perdida Meu Tinto 2024 is a red wine made by La Perdida in O Barco de Valdeorras, Galicia, Spain, from a small 0.4-hectare vineyard located in O Ruxe.

The vineyard is planted on limestone soils, which are uncommon in Galicia and characteristic of this northern part of Valdeorras.

The wine is a field blend of Alicante Bouschet, with Mencía and Mouratón (Juan García), while the white varieties, mainly Godello, Dona Branca and Palomino, account for approximately 30% of the vineyard.

The grapes are hand-harvested and the red and white varieties are co-fermented spontaneously in a 400-litre clay amphora. After five months, the wine is transferred to a 300-litre used oak barrel, where it continues to age.

Production is limited to around 400 bottles.
