La Visciola Vicinale Cesanese 2022 Red Wine
La Visciola Vicinale Cesanese Red 2022 is a red wine produced by La Visciola in the Cesanese di Piglio appellation, located in the region of Lazio, Italy.
The wine is a single-varietal Cesanese, coming from vineyards between 40 and 60 years old, situated at around 400 meters above sea level.
“Vicinale” means “village wine” and represents the winery’s entry-level and largest production range.
Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on its own lees in the same tanks for 12 months.
It is bottled unfiltered and unfined, with minimal additions of sulphur
