Las del Río Caroline Giménez Ramuncho 2023 Red Wine

Las del Río Caroline Giménez Ramuncho Red 2023 is a red wine produced by Caroline Giménez and Jérôme Saurigny under the Las del Río project in Rochefort-sur-Loire, in the Loire Valley, France.

The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grolleau and Gamay, complemented by a small proportion of oxidative wine made by Jérôme Saurigny. The grapes come from organically farmed vineyards planted on the characteristic schist and limestone soils of the Loire.

Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and a minimal-intervention approach, preserving the wine's purity, energy and fruit expression. It is bottled without fining, filtration, and with only a minimal addition of sulphur.
