Le Puy Émilien 2020 Red Wine
Le Puy Émilien Red 2019 is a red wine produced by Le Puy in Pomerol/Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux.
The wine is a blend of Merlot (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (7%), Cabernet Franc (6%), Malbec (1%), and Carménère (1%) from 50-year-old vineyards planted on red clay soils.
Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in oak foudres, followed by aging on the lees for 12 months in the same foudres, and an additional 12 months in French oak barrels.
