Luis Seabra Xisto Cru 2021 Red Wine
Luis Seabra Xisto Cru 2021 is a red wine produced by Luis Seabra Wines. It is a blend of Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz, Rufete, Tinta Barroca, Malvasia Preta, and Donzelinho Tinto, sourced from four vineyards located at 400 meters of altitude at the top of Corgo.
Thirty percent of the grapes are foot-trodden and fermented in traditional Douro stone lagares, while the remaining 70% ferment in stainless steel tanks for 25 days, with prior destemming and a spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts.
Finally, the wine ages for one year in used French oak barrels. Both vinifications are blended before bottling and release to the market.
