Matthieu Barret Petit Ours Brun 2024 Red Wine

Matthieu Barret Petit Ours Brun Red 2024 is a red wine produced by Matthieu Barret, based in Cornas, Ardèche, in the Rhône Valley.

The wine is a single-varietal Syrah sourced from vineyards located in the village of Visan, with vines over 50 years old planted on clay-limestone soils.

Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The grapes are 100% destemmed, with two daily pump-overs, and no oenological products are used during vinification.

The wine is aged for 9 months in concrete tanks. It is neither filtered nor fined, and the addition of sulfur dioxide is kept to a minimum, preserving the wine’s purity and natural expression.
