Menina de Uva Ciste 2021 Red Wine

Menina de Uva Ciste Red 2021 is a red wine produced by Aline Domingues in the Portuguese region of Trás-os-Montes, specifically in the Planalto Mirandês.

The wine is a field blend of Bastardo Preta (Trousseau), Negreda, and small proportions of traditional white grape varieties such as Malvasia, Bastardo Branco, and Formosa, sourced from old vineyards located in Junqueira and Matela. The soils in these parcels are richer in clay and alluvial elements, giving the wine a more supple and elegant texture.

Fermentation is carried out with whole clusters and co-fermentation of red and white varieties for only four days.

The wine is then aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks.
