Nicolas Jacob Gamay 2024 Red Wine
Nicolas Jacob Gamay Rouge 2024 is a red wine produced by Nicolas Jacob in the Jura region.
It is a single-varietal Gamay sourced from négociant fruit from the southern part of Beaujolais.
The wine undergoes semi-carbonic maceration, followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
It is aged for 18 months in used 600L French oak barrels.
Nicolas worked for many years at Domaine Anne and François Ganevat, an experience that strongly influences his approach, particularly his preference for long ageing.
The wine is bottled without fining, filtration, or stabilization.
