O Morto Tiro al Blanc Castes Tintas 2020 Red wine
O Morto Tiro o Blanco Castes Tintas is a red wine produced under the Ribeiro D.O. by Matías Michelini, a renowned Argentine winemaker known for his more than 80 labels in the Uco Valley.
These wines are crafted using biodynamic farming and ecological winemaking methods. Matías seeks out forgotten terroirs with old vineyards and native grape varieties (Brancellao, Caiño Tinto, Mencía, Merenzao, Sousón), producing village wines as they used to be—authentic, initially seen as unusual, but ultimately trendsetting and increasingly valued. Each plot is vinified separately.
The vineyards grow on granitic soils, and the wine undergoes 9 months of aging in amphorae before being bottled without filtering or added sulfur.
An aromatic and fragrant red wine.
