Peixe Os Bidueiros 2018 Red Wine
Peixe Os Bidueiros Tinto 2018 is a red wine produced by Bodega Os Bidueiros near Viana do Bolo, in vineyards located close to the Valdeorras D.O. This is a multi-varietal wine made from Mencía, Garnacha Tintorera, and Sumoll. These vineyards are among the highest in Galicia, situated at elevations between
600 and 850 meters. At such altitudes, grape growing becomes more challenging and yields are significantly lower.
The vines, over 60 years old, grow on traditional stone terraces. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by 12 months of aging in used 500-liter French oak barrels.
