Philippe Pacalet Pommard 1er cru Les Charmots Tinto 2021
Philippe Pacalet Pommard 1er Cru “Les Charmots” 2021 is a red wine produced by Philippe Pacalet under the A.O.C. Pommard in Burgundy, France. It is a single-varietal Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard Les Charmots.
The whole clusters ferment for four weeks with indigenous yeasts and without temperature control, with pigeage (punch-down) carried out twice a day.
The wine then ferments and ages on its lees for 16 months in French oak barrels, without racking. A small dose of sulfur is added before bottling, and the wine is neither fined nor filtered.
