Vincent Marie La Coulée 2022 2023 Red Wine

Vincent Marie No Control La Coulée 2022/23 is a red wine made by Vincent Marie in Volvic, Auvergne, France.

It is a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Gamay, sourced from a parcel located on an ancient lava flow, within the volcanic soils characteristic of Volvic. The grapes are hand-harvested and the wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with minimal intervention, without the use of oenological products. The wine is then aged for an extended period in wood before being bottled unfiltered and unfined. 

The wine is released as 2022/23, an unusual combination of vintages within No Control’s range. The result is a deep and structured red wine, with black fruit, spice, mineral notes and a marked tension derived from the volcanic origin of the vineyard.
