Gran Barquero Fino En Rama
Gran Barquero Fino en Rama is a fortified wine produced by Gran Barquero within the Montilla-Moriles appellation in Córdoba, Spain.
The wine is made from 100% Pedro Ximénez grapes, which are vinified in a lagar located within the vineyard itself, helping preserve the freshest characteristics of the fruit when producing the base wine.
Once fermentation is complete, the wine enters the traditional criaderas and solera aging system, where it remains in the cellar for an average of around 10 years before bottling.
This Fino en Rama is bottled from selected sacas taken at the optimal moment of biological aging, just as the wine approaches the transition toward Amontillado style—resulting in a Fino with remarkable complexity, depth, and intensity.
