Julien Jean Renard Cuvée Renard 2024 White Wine
Julien Renard Cuvée Renard White 2024 is a white wine produced by Julien Renard in the Mosel region of Germany.
The wine is a blend of Müller-Thurgau, Riesling and Weissburgunder sourced from small parcels located on the steep slate terraces of Winningen. The vineyards, covering just 0.7 hectares, are farmed entirely by hand and without the use of chemicals.
The grapes are harvested manually and fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. In the cellar, Julien follows a minimal-intervention philosophy, avoiding bâtonnage and filtration in order to preserve the purity and energy of the wine.
The wine then undergoes a long ageing period on its lees, gaining depth and complexity while retaining its freshness and tension.
