Suertes Del Marqués Vidonia 2025 White Wine
Suertes del Marqués Vidonia Blanco 2025 is a white wine produced by Suertes del Marqués in the Valle de La Orotava, Tenerife, Canary Islands.
It is made from 100% Listán Blanco, sourced from century-old vineyards located between 350 and 520 metres above sea level, on volcanic soils. Many of the vines are ungrafted and over 100 years old, trained using the traditional cordón trenzado system, in which the vine shoots are woven together.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with native yeasts in 500-litre French oak barrels and large oak foudres. The wine is aged for around 10 months in these vessels on its fine lees, gaining depth and texture while preserving the freshness and distinctive character of the vineyard.
