MESTRES COQUET 2020
Mestres Coquet 2020 Sparkling Wine is a sparkling wine produced by Mestres within the D.O. Cava.
The wine is a blend of Xarel·lo (45%), Macabeu (30%), and Parellada (25%), with 40% coming from their own vineyard with vines over 60 years old, and the rest from a managed vineyard planted in trellis with an average age of around 20 years.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks on its own lees. The second fermentation occurs in bottle for 42 months, with periodic turning to promote autolysis, also with cork, before each bottle is disgorged individually.
