Bodegas Antidoto 2024 Red Wine
La Hormiga de Antídoto Red 2024 is a red wine produced by Bodegas Antídoto under the Ribera del Duero DO, in San Esteban de Gormaz, Soria.
It is a field blend of Tempranillo (95%) and Albillo (5%), sourced from vineyards located near Paraje del Hoyo, planted in 1922 at an altitude of 950 meters above sea level. The vines grow on sandy and clay-limestone soils and are organically farmed.
Following hand harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels (Darnajou and Taransaud), 50% new, with the remainder being one- or two-year-old barrels.
