Antidoto La Hormiga 2022 Red Wine
La Hormiga de Antídoto Tinto 2022 is a red wine produced by Bodegas Antídoto under the D.O Ribera del Duero in San Esteban de Gormaz, Soria.
It is a single-varietal Tempranillo wine made from vineyards located next to the Paraje del Hoyo, planted in 1922 at an altitude of 950 meters, on sandy and clay-limestone soils, and cultivated organically.
After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed before beginning fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels (Darnajou and Taransaud), 50% of which are new and the rest one or two years old.
