Celler de Roure Vermell Tinto 2022
Celler del Roure Vermell 2022 is a red wine made by Celler del Roure in Moixent, Terres dels Alforins, D.O. Valencia, at around 600 metres above sea level.
It is made from 50% Mandó, 30% Arcos and 20% Garnacha Tintorera, from organically farmed vineyards. The grapes are hand-harvested and partially destemmed before undergoing around 10 days of maceration in stainless steel tanks and stone lagares, with spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts.
The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and is aged for 6 months in old 2,800-litre underground clay amphorae.
