Vincent Paris La Geynale Tinto 2020
Vincent Paris La Geynale 2020 is a red wine made by Vincent Paris in Cornas, Northern Rhône Valley, France.
The wine is a single-varietal Syrah from century-old vines located in the La Geynale lieu-dit, on steep, south-facing granite slopes.
The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with whole bunches, undergoing a cold maceration of approximately one week before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts begins. During fermentation, the wine is pumped over twice a day.
It is then aged for around 16 months in used oak barrels aged between 2 and 8 years, with no new oak, in order to preserve the expression of the vineyard.
