Antonio Míguez Amil Boas Vides 2021 is a red wine made from a blend of native grape varieties: 40% Carabuñeira, 20% Espadeiro, 15% Caiño da Terra, 20% Sousón, and 5% Brancellao. The grapes come from three historic vineyards in the Ribeiro region, specifically in the municipality of Cenlle.
For this vintage, Antonio has chosen to certify the wine under the D.O. Ribeiro. It is produced according to biodynamic farming principles.
Fermentation takes place with around 30% whole cluster in 1000-liter stainless steel tanks, using spontaneous fermentation. Malolactic fermentation also occurs in tank, followed by aging in French oak barrels (pipas) for 8 months. The wine is clarified naturally through decantation
