Diego Magaña Dominio de Anza Selección Parcelas Tinto 2022
Dominio de Anza Selección de Parcelas Red 2024 is a red wine produced by Diego Magaña under the Dominio de Anza project in the Bierzo region of Castilla y León, Spain.
The wine is a single-varietal Mencía sourced from vineyards located in the villages of Valtuille de Abajo and Otero. The vines have an average age of 80 years and are planted on clay, slate and pebble-rich soils at an altitude of around 540 metres.
Fermentation takes place in 2,500-litre vats with a three-week maceration using the grape skins and approximately 60% whole clusters.
The wine is then aged for 12 months in 2,800-litre oak foudres.
