Domaine La Côtelette Les Trognes de Pinot 2024 Red Wine
Domaine La Côtelette Les Trognes de Pinot Red 2024 is a red wine produced by Benoît Kilian at Domaine La Côtelette in Trugny, Burgundy, France.
The wine is a single-varietal Pinot Noir sourced from old vines, some planted in 1919 and others own-rooted, cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles on the clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Saône. Surrounded by woodland, the vineyards are worked entirely by hand.
Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and a slightly longer maceration to enhance complexity while preserving finesse. The wine is then aged in used French oak barrels. It is bottled without fining, filtration, and with little to no added sulphur.
