Clos Rougeard Brézé Blanc 2020 is a white wine from the Saumur Blanc appellation in France’s Loire Valley, produced by Clos Rougeard.

It is a single-varietal Chenin Blanc sourced from several parcels located on the limestone hillside of Brézé, one of the most prestigious terroirs in the Saumurois for age-worthy white wines. The chalky limestone soils and tuffeau subsoil bring tension, salinity, and a pronounced mineral character to the wine.

The 2020 vintage is marked by a sunny and generous growing season, producing ripe yet balanced wines that retain the natural freshness of Chenin Blanc.

Vinification follows the estate’s traditional approach, with aging in oak barrels and extended maturation in cellar, adding complexity and texture without masking the expression of the terroir.
