Verónica Ortega GLOC Ancestral 2020 White Wine
Verónica Ortega GLOC Ancestral Blanco 2020 is a sparkling wine produced using the ancestral method by Verónica Ortega and the Gómez Lucas brothers from Bodega Vinificate, under the Bierzo appellation.
The grapes come from vines over 95 years old, planted on sandy soils with many pebbles, at about 650 meters above sea level in the village of Villanueva. The wine is a 100% Palomino
The grapes undergo total destemming followed by 4 hours of skin contact maceration. Alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts begins and finishes in the bottle, following the principles of ancestral winemaking.
The wine is aged in the bottle on its fine lees for 2 years and 5 months.
