Verónica Ortega Tormenta White 2023 is a white wine produced by Verónica Ortega in Valtuille, Bierzo.
The wine is a single-varietal Godello sourced from vineyards with clay-limestone soils.
It undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, using 100% destemmed grapes and a short 24-hour skin maceration.
The wine is aged for 13 months in French oak barrels (ranging from 225L to 600L), followed by further aging in an 800L clay amphora.
