Eduardo Torres Versante Nord 2024 White Wine

Eduardo Torres Versante Nord White 2024 is a white wine produced by Eduardo Torres on the slopes of Mount Etna, in Sicily.

It is a blend of Minnella Bianca and other white native varieties, including Catarratto, Carricante, Coda di Volpe, Grecanico and Inzolia, sourced from small parcels on the north-facing side of Mount Etna, located between 550 and 900 metres above sea level. The soils are of volcanic origin, and the vines are approximately 50 years old. They are worked by hand, without the use of chemical products or fertilisers, and harvested manually.

Fermentation occurs spontaneously, without temperature control, in concrete vats, following a 5-day skin maceration. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 8 months in a single used oak barrel.
