Jean Pierre Robinot Charme 2023 White Wine
Jean-Pierre Robinot Charme White 2023 is a white wine made by Jean-Pierre Robinot in Chahaignes, in the Loire Valley, France, under the Vin de France designation.
It is a 100% Chenin Blanc, sourced from vines between 25 and 50 years old, planted on red clay-limestone and weathered flint soils, over a limestone subsoil. The vineyards are farmed according to organic and biodynamic practices, with Ecocert certification.
The grapes are hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, and the wine spends 15 months ageing on its lees in used barrels. It is then racked once and blended in tank for a further three months before bottling. It is neither fined nor filtered, and no sulphites are added.
