Jean-Pierre Robinot Les Années Folles 2024 Sparkling Wine
Jean-Pierre Robinot Les Années Folles Sparkling Rosé 2024 is a natural sparkling rosé wine made by Jean-Pierre Robinot in the Loire Valley, France, under the Vin de France designation.
It is made from a blend of Chenin Blanc and Pineau d’Aunis. Some sources for this vintage indicate a proportion of 60% Chenin Blanc and 40% Pineau d’Aunis, although I have not been able to confirm whether this is the exact composition of every batch. The grapes come from vineyards in the Jasnières area, on clay-limestone soils.
The wine is made using the ancestral method: fermentation begins spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and is completed in the bottle, where the bubbles develop.
