Pheasant´s Tears Tsitska 2024 White Wine
Pheasant’s Tears Tsitska 2024 is a skin-contact white wine made by Pheasant’s Tears in Imereti, Georgia, from 100% Tsitska grown in the Terjola area of western Georgia.
The grapes are destemmed and undergo around 3 weeks of skin maceration, followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in qvevri, traditional Georgian clay vessels buried underground.
The wine is then aged for 10 months in qvevri on its full lees. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered, with a small addition of sulphur.
