Szóló Viz 2023 White Wine
Szóló Viz Blanco 2023 is a white wine produced by Szóló in the Tokaj region of Hungary.
It is a single-varietal Furmint sourced from approximately 40-year-old vines planted on basaltic and volcanic soils at around 280 meters above sea level.
The name “Viz” translates to “water” in Spanish. Since 2020, Tímea Éless has been naming her wines after the elements, with each wine representing a specific vineyard parcel.
The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, followed by 10 months aging on its lees, adding texture while preserving its transparent color.
