Viña Somoza Ededia Blanco 2021
Viña Somoza Ededia White 2021 is a white wine produced by Bodegas Viña Somoza in Rubiá, within the Valdeorras appellation in Galicia, Spain.
The wine is a single-varietal Godello sourced from the Treval Valley, specifically from a vineyard located at 450 metres above sea level on south-facing limestone soils.
The grapes are harvested by hand in 15 kg boxes. After a 48-hour cold maceration and gentle pressing, fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in 500-litre French oak barrels.
The wine is then aged for approximately 10 months on its lees in those same French oak barrels.
