Yann Durieux Love and Pif 2022 White Wine
Yann Durieux Love and Pif 2022 is a white wine made by Yann Durieux – Recrue des Sens in Burgundy, France, classified as Vin de France.
It is a single-varietal Aligoté made from vines over 40 years old, planted on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for around 9–10 months in stainless steel tanks, aiming to preserve the variety’s freshness and tension.
It is neither fined nor filtered, with no sulphur added. A pure, fresh and highly vibrant expression of Aligoté, showing aromas of lemon, green apple and white flowers, with marked acidity and a mineral, saline character that carries through to a long finish.
