Julia Bernet Exsum Feixes de la Font Brut Nature Sparkling 2022 is a sparkling wine produced by Julia Bernet in the Penedès under the European Corpinnat designation
The wine is a blend of Xarel·lo and Chardonnay sourced from estate-owned vineyards located on the slopes of the Ordal mountain in Subirats. This steep hillside area gives the grapes a distinctive and singular character compared to the rest of the Penedès. It is a difficult-to-access zone with very limited production
Each variety is fermented separately through spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Once the individual fermentations are complete, the wines are blended and undergo bottle aging on the lees for 36 months
No sulfur is added and no dosage liqueur is used
